High School Pre Season Training
Join us this Summer and build your SPEED, STRENGTH, and POWER!
Get ready for your high school fall season with Vermont FHC’s elite summer training series! This program will be hosted at the University of Vermont, with all sessions taking place on Moulton Winder Field. We’ve designed this program to focus on strength, agility, speed, and technical skill development.
Each 2-hour session is divided between strength and conditioning training and field hockey skill work. The first hour will be led by Bekkah Bond, one of UVM’s athletic performance coaches. Bekkah currently trains the University of Vermont’s field hockey, women’s lacrosse, and women’s basketball teams. This hour is open to all female athletes, regardless of their primary sport.
The second hour is an optional add-on that focuses on field hockey skill development. It will be led by the University of Vermont Field Hockey staff and players and is designed to sharpen both fundamental and advanced skills in preparation for the high school season. Field players and goalkeepers are both welcome – there will be a dedicated goalie coach working with goalkeepers throughout the sessions.
This program welcomes athletes of all experience levels entering grades 9 - 12. We believe it’s an excellent opportunity for motivated athletes to elevate their game, train in a collegiate environment, and prepare physically for their upcoming season.
The cost to attend only the first hour of agility, speed, and power training with Bekkah Bond is $175 + League Apps Fee. The cost to attend the full two hour session, which includes field hockey technical skill development is $350 + League Apps Fee.
